We can’t get enough of the fun loving ladies from Bombshell Bridal! You might have already seen their video that encourages all brides to love their bodies.

We invited Bombshell Bridal’s owner, Amanda, to share some tips for all of our curvy brides.

Curvy brides rock and I know this because I own a bridal shop that specializes in plus size and curvy brides. The thing that makes owning a plus size bridal shop so interesting is that no two brides are alike. Some of my brides want to flaunt their curves in fitted gowns, while others opt for figure flattering A-line gowns. And there are some brides that want runway couture while others want classic and traditional.

While it’s true that every bride wants to look and feel great in her gown, it’s also true that she wants a gown that fits her vision, style, and personality. At Bombshell Bridal Boutique we love Justin Alexander because the wedding dresses offer our brides amazing fit and quality in a huge variety of styles to suite each bride’s specific vision. Here are some of our favorite gowns and helpful tips for all curvy and plus size brides.

For Busty Brides

We love Style 8483 for super busty brides because the neckline offers plenty of coverage. Plus, the full skirt balances a fuller bust. This dress is also adorable in tea length as Style 8465. Another great dress for busty brides is Style 8685. The illusion neckline works well to keep a fuller bust in place and the fitted waist and full skirt help create a beautiful hourglass silhouette. Plus size brides CAN wear ball gowns and look phenomenal!

For Brides Without Curves

We love Style 8641 and Style 8658 for less curvy brides because the body hugging shape of the dress helps create curves in all the right places. These styles are also great for brides who want to flaunt the curves they already have. We call this style “classy sexy.”

For Brides Who Are Thicker in the Middle

Style 9700 is a gorgeous A-line wedding dresses that is super flattering for most body types but works particularly well on brides who are thicker in the middle. It’s fitted at the natural waist where most of us tend to be smallest and just full enough on the bottom to camouflage any problem areas.

For Brides Who Want Runway Couture

Style 8726 has an amazing movement in the skirt when you walk and the 4-inch bling around the waist is just spectacular. This dress is unlike any other gown out there and is truly a one of a kind showpiece. Side note, if I were getting married, I would pair Style 9753 with blingy belt A066, isn’t this combination fabulous? I love the clean lines and simplicity of the textures. These styles are perfect for the bride who wants something a little different and isn’t afraid of wearing a big statement dress.

My advice to all the curvy brides out there is this: Don’t settle! There are fabulous, flattering, and fashionable gowns out there to match your vision and style. And don’t be afraid to try something new, you might be surprised by the gown you select!
