The idea of opening a bridal shop came about after Elderberry Brides' founder and current owner, Pam Armstrong, tried to find a bridal outfit for herself back in the mid-nineties. It seemed there were few bridal shops in the UK at that time that catered for the larger size bride so, in July 2000, Elderberry Brides of Basingstoke came into being. Pam began importing plus size bridal gowns from a leading supplier in the US. Once the stock list had reached approximately 30 dresses, Elderberry Brides started to to advertise and that's when things really began to take off.
Elderberry Brides offers high quality and personal bridal service from its bridal store in Basingstoke town centre catering for the needs of all brides-to-be - whatever the size, budget or preferences for style, colour or cut of their dream wedding gown.

Even though it was difficult for Pam to choose just one dress she believes Style 8714 is a standout dress. It's timeless in it's appearance, simply oozes glamour and sophistication and captures the romanticism of the vintage age. The fabrics too are sumptuous and feel truly wonderful against the skin.If youre in the Hampshire, UK area make sure to follow Elderberry Brides on Facebook!
