As Tiffanys Bridal celebrates their 45th anniversary, we are overjoyed to announce that Justin Alexander will be part of the festivities! Tiffanys Bridal will be hosting a Justin Alexander trunk show on June 6th - 8th. Designer Jose Dias will be there to help soon-to-be-brides find their dream dress.

Sharon Townsend, owner and manager, had more than 20 years experience as a freelance wedding planner when she went shopping for her daughter's wedding at Tiffanys and was offered a job. She worked as a consultant for less than three years before being promoted to manager. A few months later she decided to make it her own.

“Tiffanys Bridal is a Richmond icon,” Townsend said. “I've made some changes, but I never considered changing the name because I wanted to carry on the tradition of unparalleled personal service for all brides. My goal is for each bride to recall her experience here with the same fondness that I do.”

The Tiffanys Bridal approach to customer service is simple, if a bride comes to Tiffanys and wants a dress for $2,000, they roll out the red carpet for her. And when the next bride comes in and wants a dress for $200, they roll out that same red carpet. The goal at Tiffanys is to make the once-in-a-lifetime experience of shopping for a bridal gown special and memorable. The bridal consultants understand that brides are searching for the most important garment they will ever wear; they listen carefully and focus on the brides' individual style. And try to go above and beyond to help brides by advising them on other aspects of their weddings, finding dream gowns at the last-minute, or thinking up custom changes to make their gowns and accessories truly unique.

Bridal Wisdom

Brides often make the mistake of shopping for their gown before they've put much thought into the wedding itself. Ashley says, “although it can be more fun to try on gowns than to book the reception space, you need to know when and where your wedding will take place before you select a gown. A full ball gown usually won't work for a beach wedding. Also, check with your officiant to make sure your ideas align with any religious guidelines you may need to follow. Once you know the general tone of the event, it's time to make an appointment with a bridal consultant.”

Favorite Justin Alexander Dress

Sharon Townsend couldn't choose just one Justin Alexander wedding dress as her favorite, so she chose 8627 and 8718. Style 8627 “is so versatile and easy to personalize. Our brides have added belts, straps, sleeves, and even illusion necklines to this gown, making it truly unique and a perfect fit for their weddings.” She does admit that although Style 8718 is “not be as versatile as 8627, it does steal the show. It makes a grand entrance with the amazing details on the bodice and a dramatic exit with the illusion back and endless trail of buttons.”
