This Texan couple first met when they got paired to lead a bible study class. They met once a week to plan their bible study, the meetings went from being 20 minutes to four hours or longer because neither of them wanted to leave. They began dating shortly after and were engaged eight months later.

The bride knew she wanted to have a one of a kind wedding with a classic look that steered away from trends. Luckily she had the help of her mom and decorator friend who were able to create a unique and personal wedding theme but at the same time kept it simple, yet elegant.

Finding the Dress

“I honestly had no idea what I was looking for or what style of dress I wanted. I was hoping I would put it on and just know. The Justin Alexander Signature dress that I chose was the one that my dad loved best and said it had the "wow" factor. That just about did it for me! I just loved the silver sparkly lace underlay it had. It was a subtle sparkle that fit my personality perfectly. I also loved the buttons all the way down the back of the dress- it was so dreamy!” – Kari Gibbs

Favorite Part of the Wedding Day

“There are so many little moments I will forever cherish, but one in particular that will always stand out in my mind is seeing Jordan's face as I was walking down the aisle. I had waited all day long to see him and finally the moment was happening. He was tearing up which I'd never seen him do before. It was a surreal moment that put everything into perspective, we had actually made it to the day and we were finally getting married.” – Kari Gibbs

Bridal Advice

“Relinquish control. Don't be shy to delegate tasks to others! Your parents, friends and family want to be there to celebrate with you and the planning process is a part of that celebration! It not only helps take a load off you, but your loved ones will take great joy in being able to help you with your special day!” – Kari Gibbs
