I cant help but swoon when a love story begins as friends in high school and then blooms into a romantic NYE proposal. Our bride Lauren and her now husband Matt both agreed that there is no other event in life more formal that your wedding day. And while they didnt set a wedding theme, this tone was carried throughout their big day as Lauren added an artistic flair to create a sophisticated and fashionable wedding.
The bridesmaids looked beautiful in long chiffon gowns with a beaded illusion necklines. While the groomsmen wore black Michael Kors tuxedos and long black ties. Matt wore a matching tuxedo and opted for a black bow tie. Lauren left us speechless in Style 8726. She styled the gown with a beaded hair piece that adorned her sleek top knot and finished off the look with a fingertip length veil.
Lets also just take a minute and admire the floral bouquets and table arrangements. The flowers were rich colors and full of hydrangeas, burgundy dahlias, amnesia, black magic roses, and a few gray berries.
Finding the dress
I chose Justin Alexander 8726 for so many reasons. This was actually the first dress I ever tried on and I knew it was the one immediately. I did continue to try on a few others that were ivory and white, but they just didn't do it justice. I always knew I wanted a high neckline with lots of beading and layers. I was looking for a true statement piece. This dress truly made me feel beautiful. I have never seen anything like it!
Bridal Advice
Lauren also stresses that future brides should spend the time and effort to plan out the details that are most important to them. Putting the effort into all of the little details really shows and your guests will absolutely love the personalized touches.
