This week we're going to help you spark your imagination in order to achieve a truly one of a kind wedding. We're going to focus on DIY projects from invitations to party favors.

All brides want their wedding to be a memorable moment not only for them but also for their guests. Soon-to-be-brides don't want any part of their wedding to resemble another bride's special day; they want their wedding to stand apart from any other. This is hard to achieve when most brides flock to the same big name retailers in search of a “unique” look. What you end up with is a group of brides with the same “unique” look.

But things have gotten a bit easier in the hunt to create a unique wedding thanks to tutorials, Pinterest, and Etsy! Soon-to-be-brides can truly have a one of a kind wedding when they incorporate hand-made details into their decorations.

Now let's clear something up, in order to DIY you don't have to qualify as a contestant on TLC's Craft Wars! You don't have to be super crafty, you just have to want to be creative, think outside of the box and have time to spare. And if you're lacking some creativity, a few minutes on Pinterest or Etsy will be enough to get your creative wheels spinning.

I'd like to introduce you to the alternative to DIY, for those of us who aren't as crafty as we'd like to be…HSEDI, Have Someone Else Do It! It's the same reason why Etsy has been so successful. It's built by a community of DIY-ers who are ready to create anything special for your big day.
